Yevhen Kobets has been leading the business of Imperial Tobacco Ukraine since August 2022. He is responsible for all aspects related to managing and developing the company’s operations in the Ukrainian market.
Yevhen has extensive experience in the tobacco industry, gained during his time at Philip Morris Ukraine. He began his career in sales, holding various positions ranging from merchandiser to Regional Sales Manager. He later served as Country Manager in Moldova and subsequently led the development of commercial strategy across Ukraine, the Caucasus, and Moldova.
In recent years, Yevhen worked in both Ukrainian and international technology companies, including SoftServe and Creatio, where he led commercial functions within both B2C and B2B business models. Prior to joining Imperial Tobacco, he headed the commercial department at Glovo, an international company specializing in on-demand delivery services via mobile applications.
Yevhen holds a degree in Economics, Finance, and Credit from Zaporizhzhia National University and has earned a number of international certifications from leading European business schools in the United Kingdom, France, and Switzerland.
While working as Head of Commercial Strategy Development at Philip Morris, Yevhen obtained multiple trainer certifications in areas such as sales strategy, planning and forecasting, brand management, coaching, and business process management. He also contributed to the development and delivery of training programs across Eastern and Central Europe, Scandinavia, and South Africa.
